This was the first official release of the Decca audition recordings, and of all 15 titles recorded by the Beatles that day, only 12 are included here. The other three ("Love Of The Loved", "Hello Little Girl", and "Like Dreamers Do") were original McCartney/Lennon compositions, and it is supposed that there were problems with the publishers that prevented Audiofidelity from including them.
The Beatles had only been "The Silver Beatles" on their Scotland tour, and by the time of the Decca audition, they were just The Beatles again.
