This album has all 8 songs recorded in Hamburg by Tony Sheridan and the Beatles (recording under the name of The Beat Brothers) in 1961. The other tracks were recorded by Tony with various back-up groups, who used the same name - The Beat Brothers. It is interesting to note that of all 8 Beatle tracks on this album, on only 1 of them did a Beatle actually sing lead. John took lead vocals on "Ain't She Sweet". "Cry For A Shadow" was a true Beatles original, but it is an instrumental. On the other tracks, the Beatles either sang back up or contributed instrumentally only.
