The Albums

The version of "Across The Universe" included on this album was originally recorded in February 1968...Paul and John felt the song really needed high falsetto voices in the background, and went outside and recruited 2 fans to provide them. Lizzie Bravo (16 Compayne Gardens, London, NW 6) and Gayleen Pease (17 Amhurst Road, London, N 16) have the honour of being the only fans ever invited to sing on any Beatles' recording, and it is their voices you hear singing "nothing's going to change my world" over and over again in this recording.

Another note of interest for this recording: besides playing the drums, Ringo also uses a Coca-Cola tin.
