The Albums

These recorded interviews are from press conferences in Vancouver, Canada (1964) and Seattle, WA, USA (1966). They are from Red Robinson's private collection, and he conducted the interviews.

A SIDE

1:00 - Newscast and interview: February 1966 regarding John Lennon's statement in Datebook Magazine that the Beatles were more popular than Christ

17:07 - Press conference: recorded at the Astor Hotel, Chicago, Illinois, 12th August 1966

B SIDE

7:12 - Newscast (concerning John Lennon) including interviews with: John Lennon, Tommy James, Maureen Cleave, Les Perrin and Brian Epstein
Tommy James was the American disc jockey who first publicized the "Beatles bigger than Jesus" story - not the reknowned sixties rock star.

13:13 - Red Robinson talks about the effects of the Beatles' music on American and Canadian audiences and their appearance at the Empire Stadium in Vancouver, Canada, 26th August 1964
The date is a tad bit off - on August 26, the Beatles were in Denver performing at the Red Rock Stadium, while the performance at the Empire Stadium was actually on August 22.
